*I should re-name this blog to "Professional Nomads." After spending New Year's Eve in San Francisco, we came to Sacramento to visit a friend for the weekend. Tomorrow we are off to San Francisco again, where our friends KK have generously offered to let us stay at their house while they are on vacation in Tahoe for the week. We are really hoping to hear back about some jobs this week so please keep us in your thoughts!
* I actually broke down and saw Avatar in 3D yesterday. I am generally opposed to all things science fiction, including Harry Potter, Lords of the Rings, etc. I surprised myself greatly because I didn't even sigh, get bored, OR restless! I actually loved every minute of the film and am now encouraging all science-fiction haters to give this movie a chance! I am glad I actually believed all the hype and went ahead and watched it because I was considering not going!
* On New Year's Day, we were huge ballers and rented a car to rent a second car. Then we followed each other in our two rent cars. Holla!!! (it's a long story why but we like to joke that the reason is because we're jobless ballers)
* My lil' C got an awful haircut and now all his long hair is gone. He asked for a trim and the chick took off like four inches of his long wavy hair. :( Hopefully it will grow back soon. I'm thinking it will be back in just 8 weeks ?
* On New Year's Day C and I joined a group of friends at the Mint Karaoke lounge in SF. This place is awesome. Next time you're in SF with a group of friends, you have to check this place out!
* "Are you guys ready to let the dogs out." "What dogs?" " You know, who let the dogs out, like in the song?" I'm watching the Hangover for the third time. I think it gets better each time.
