They're Ba-ack

Help! Get me out of here.

Tourists were everywhere this weekend taking advantage of the recent and glorious arrival of the sun.

Sun worshippers picnic-ing and people watching in the oh-so-sexy Piazza Santa Croce.

It's just about that time: tourist time.
Tourists in Florence mean not being able to take a stroll without dodging elbow jabs and fighting stinky, sweaty crowds.
Tourists mean avoiding the complete centro of Florence for the next six months. (Except what do you do if you live in it?!)
Tourists mean hearing far too much English for being in an Italian city.
Tourists in Florence mean having to prove to the gelato man that you really do speak Italian and you're not a tourist like the rest.
I thought the economy was supposed to hinder tourism some? Not here.
