In addition to attending Finnegan's birthday party (free prosecco and all!), C, KK, M and I also managed to get a table at one of our favorite pizzeria's in town, Rosso Pomodoro. This particular pizzeria is popular because it's one of the few places in Florence that serves pizze napoletane, or Naples' pizzas. After waiting about an hour, we were able to get a table for 5 and chow down on some warm, delicious pizzas! Before going to get pizza, though, C & I stopped in at Alberto's inaguaration party for his new shop & restaurant, La Cantina, for some aperitivi. Needless to say, Saturday was a fun-filled evening, with lots to do and see in la bellaFirenze.
