Friday in the Hills

On Friday, we took about 35 students to a small town outside of Florence, near Fiesole. There we had a huge Tuscan lunch, cooked by a nonna and all. We ate salami, freshly picked figs, ribollita, pasta al forno, and had cantucci with vin santo for dessert. We also checked out the villa's olive groves and abundant vineyards. Needless to say, it was a relaxing way to begin the weekend....
