Bringing Back Some Good Ol' High School Memories

Lately there have been a lot of US vs Italy sporting events. Last Monday Italy beat USA in the Confederation Cup soccer match. This past Friday we saw the two mens volleyball teams face off with a World League qualifier match. USA won and we were there to witness! This is me after the game. It was fun to see the players close up.

It's hard to tell in this photo but you can see all of the Italians doing the wave, something I didn't realize that was done in other parts of the world.

At the beginning of the match, both teams played their national anthems. I quickly learned that we were the ONLY Americans in our section. While C and I had our hands on our hearts during our anthem, we felt lots of eyes glaring at us. But we didn't care.. especially when we beat them, 3-1!

It's all Fantasy

What are three guys doing in front if their laptops on a Saturday night? Fantasy Baseball, of course. I mean, what else could they be doing?? Please shoot me if I ever spend a Saturday night choosing fake players for a fake game. Ha, ha. :)

Something that is NOT fantasy is going through a huge stack of magazines and throwing about 3/4 of them away. On Sunday, I threw away (recycled, actually) these two big bags of magazines. It felt so good to do some much-needed spring cleaning.
