In the U.S, you can wear work out clothes out on the street and NO one stares or gawks at you! I kind of love that.

It's also nice to finally have a clothes dryer. MMMM... dryer sheets! They make your clothes so soft.. and they smell nice too!
--->>> As we approach the three and a half months that mark our return to the U.S, a lot of people have asked us how the transition has been moving back to the States. We can officially say that we have 100% re-adjusted to life back in the U.S. We both adore San Francisco and feel so lucky to be living in such a cool city.
At first, the efficiency here really kind of blew us away. For example, last month we went to get a copy of a key made and expecting that it would take a few hours, it only took about 15 seconds flat. In Italy I remember dropping off a key, only to hear the man tell me to come back later that day to pick it up.
I do still kind of get anxiety when I wait in lines, though. I have to tell myself to calm down and not assume that the people behind me are trying to cut in line. LOL.
--->>> On another note, I'm trying to incorporate the words "Oh SNAP" into my vocabulary more.
--->>> My friend MZ from Florence is in town! Thursday night we will have a girls' night with KS and KQ. Can't wait!
--->>> Lastly, you know you're unemployed when you type in "Martha Stewart.com" to look for a recipe you saw on her show last week. What am I turning into!??? Really?
--->>> On the interview note, (see yesterday's post) I don't think the wine gift helped. They are pursuing another candidate. But on an even better (and happier)note, I have TWO interviews on Thursday. One is a second one for a place I REALLY want to work. And the second is for a long-term temp job that could be nice, as well.
--->>> Another friend from Italy, Riccardo was just in town for a week. We had a great visit from him and were relieved that we could still speak Italian, senza problema (without a problem). Let's hope it stays like that! Yikes.
