(*) Apparently my recruiter was wrong about The Spanish Company choosing another candidate. I have a second round of "tests" today and am still in the running. I have a third interview next week with the headquarters in Spain! I guess the bottle of wine didn't hurt my chances after all..
(*) I had another great second interview with another great Global Organization. The position is very similar to what I was doing in Florence. I'm really hoping something will materialize in the next week or so. Mainly because:
1. I can't stand daytime telivision ANYmore.
2. I can only go to the gym so many times in one week before I start to get bored and restless.
3. Ummm the obvious monetary reasons.
As I write all of this I kind of feel insincere because there IS a part of me that likes to stay home. It's actually not as bad as I thought- really. The day goes by kind of quickly after I watch Regis & Kelly, drink my two cups of coffee, job search, and then go to the gym and supermarket. Oh and there's the mandatory cooking-dinner-thing that is obligatory when one stays at home. Dinner's served, and then the day is over before you know it! *Sigh*. I still really want a job though!
(*) I've already thought of a cute thank-you note and small gift to send the Global Organization. (The picture in this entry is a big hint). This time my note will be even MORE creative but a tad more professional. Wish me luck!
(*) Who else can't wait to see Alice & Wonderland this weekend?
