1. Today is student arrivals. That means a long day and overall, a really long week. Let's hope everything runs smoothly and that there are no major problems. Above is a funny picture that we like to show students during the safety session at Orientation. It's of an Italian man with a sign that says "I find my wife." Nuff said.
2. Lately, C has been busy working at the macelleria. In addition to learning how to butcher and getting some fabulous experience in the kitchen, he's speaking tons of Italian every single day, which is great.
3. Welcome to the blog, Miko! Looking forward to talking football (wink) in a few months at the Eagles stadium. Woot woot.
4. I came across a fun Charlie Brown quote recently: "In the book of life, the answers aren't in the back." I have to remember these kinds of things when I start to doubt our move back to the U.S. I know it's the best move for us but it is going to be hard to leave our lives here behind and embark upon a new and unknown one! We are excited but also a little apprehensive and nervous.
