I have been trying to do leg lifts every morning to get ready for summah time. Every time I lie down on the yoga mat and prop my elbow up for support, I experience flashbacks from 1985 of me playing in a corner while my Mom does Jane Fonda moves in her Jazzersize classes.~-~ I'm in the market for new sunscreen. I'm talking 30-45 SPF, quality sunscreen for my viso (face). I have these tiny little sun spots and I really can't deal with getting any more. Plus, I get tons of freckles in the summer. I am officially at "that" point where I have started to be concerned about sun and the results of it on my skin. I've seen online that both Clinique and Lancome have some serious products out there and I'm going to invest in one this weekend!
~-~ If anyone tries to tell you that New Moon is a worthwhile read, please consider what I'm about to say. I read this book with low expectations because I really didn't love Twilight that much and didn't expect a turn-pager. Well, let's just say that reading New Moon took three weeks to finish, which for me, is a long time to read one book. I actually found parts of it excrutiatingly painful to read. Especially the cheesy description of Jacob and Bella's "friendship," which seemed forced and never even fully developed. How do you become best friends with someone in a month? Even when I was 18, I didn't stick the BFF label on friends until we were friends for at least a year. Anyway, overall, I thought it was a terrible book. I won't go in to any further detail in case you haven't read it. All my other comments might ruin the story and I don't want that to happen. I will not be reading books number three and four of the Twilight Series. I can't, I just can't.
~-~ I love when I find new blogs to stalk. In my mind, it's like I've made a new friend. Mainly I read other ex-pat blogs, but I also have a few friends who blog as well. I read one man's blog who is American and living in Buenos Aires, a girl from Vermont who lives in Barcelona, and another about this French-American girl in Paris.
~-~ Why is April always such a confused month? It's like a month-long battle of war between winter and summer. Get it overwith already and move on, April! We're ready for sandals, white linen, and sweat fests.
~-~ We don't have any specific plans for the weekend. I'm sure we'll run some errands tomorrow and hang out and relax, but besides that, nothing specific is on the agenda.
~-~ Lastly, buon weekend!
